The Thang: We started out with some yoga to stretch our hips. We started with pigeon pose and then lifted our upper bodies with our legs in pigeon pose to stretch out our hip. After that we went into a low lunge and pushed the bent knee in and out. We did twisted lunge 'push-ups' and then side to side stretches all while in a low lunge. We came to standing and stretched our shoulders with 'belly dancer' and side-to-sides.
The workout was very simple today: 17 total exercises, 30 reps each. The weather was 38 degrees this morning, it was important we keep moving. The exercises were:
- LBCs
- high knees
- jumping jacks
- squats
- push-ups
- mountain climbers
- step-ups
- big girl sit-ups
- alternating walking lunges
- leg lifts
- Spidermans
- tricep dips
- bicycle crunches
- 30 second plank
- 15 second side plank
- 15 second other side plank
- 30 second plank
We completed 1 set of the above and then walked a big lap around the church. We then completed a second set. We ended with announcements, prayer, and pic. Thanks ladies!
