Playdate

2.0's: Panda, Tutu, Twinkle Toes, Slipper, Pop Tart, Cowboy, Mario, Cookie Monster, Cookie Monster Jr. (Sorry if I forgot some, there were a lot of kids at the playground today!)

Warm-up: We did some yoga=chair pose, forward bend bringing the arms up to small back bend, putting hands on hip we bent over to each side and then ended in a wide spread foot forward bend (utkatasana, uttanasana, urdhva mukhasana, utthita uttanasana, prasarita padottanasa).

Workout(x2): Intervals, 40 seconds on, 20 second rest. We did a total of 10 exercises with 2 rounds.

  • downdog to planks
  • push-ups
  • lunges
  • bicycle crunches
  • fire hydrants
  • squats
  • jump squats
  • tricep dips (in reverse plank)
  • raggedy Anns
  • ankle biters

We ended with "Flower" by Moby (bring Sally up), this time with bridges and more ankle biters.

Cool down:  We walked a lap around the playground.

It was a beautiful day! Green Thumb brought the FIA flag, so we had a great picture in front of it. There was quite a crowd out and about today. We had a great workout!
