The Thang: I split up the workout and had us complete 3 sets of exercises for the first half, about 30 minutes. We did yoga for the last 30 minutes to get a nice all over stretch. We were over by the bench near the path today instead of the stage. Our sets consisted of 10 exercises for 45 seconds of work with 15 second rest and a 1-minute rest time in between sets. The exercises were:

  • Bulgarian split squats (right)
  • Bulgarian split squats (left)
  • tricep dips
  • inclined push-ups
  • inclined bridge
  • V-ups
  • inclined alternating knees to chest
  • inner thigh leg lifts (right)
  • inner thigh leg lifts (left)
  • J-Los
We then moved on to yoga where we held the poses for a little longer to help stretch ourselves better. We started with downdog to updog and then child's pose. Thread-the-needle, child's pose, downdog into pigeon, stretching shoulders and lower back while lying on our stomachs, supine twist and happy baby. We ended with corpse pose (savasana). We also met other women in the park that were doing yoga and invited them to join us. We hope to see them soon! Thank you for joining me this morning ladies!
