The Thang: We started out on this rainy morning with some yoga poses. We began with Warrior 1 (Virabhidrasana 1) into a side stretch (utthita parsvasana) and then into triangle pose (trikonasana). We came down to the mat into child's pose (balasana) and into cat/cow (bidalasana/cakravakasana). We moved into thread-the-needle (cakravakasana parivritti), then back into child's pose (balasana). 

Our workout consisted of 5 different exercises using bands or weights (or both). We did each exercise for 1 full minute with a 15 second rest in between. Our exercises consisted of:

  • glute bridges with bands and weights
  • side-to-side steps into jumps with bands and weights
  • bent over rows with weights
  • goblet squat into curtsy lunges with weights
  • standing twists with weights.
In between each exercise, we walked little loop laps around the parking lot. It was raining, but luckily, it wasn't raining too hard on us. We then finished up with some more yoga, announcements, and picture. As always, ladies, you make my morning better!
