The THANG:
Since the days will be longer, we decided to meet behind the school this afternoon on the concrete pad with playgrounds all around us! We started out with our Warm up being a brisk walk around the field.
Workout:
Four stations set up; 2 sets; 1 minute per station with a 20 minute rest/station rotation. After first round, stretch, and move on to the second round and repeat stretch.
- Station 1: Celtic Crunches (Crunches of choice)
- Station 2: Limerick Lift (Laying Leg Lift)
- Station 3: Leprechaun Lope (Jog in place)
- Station 4: Irish Jig ("Disco" Snatchers with weights)
Stretch
- Station 1: Pot of Gold Plank
- Station 2: Dublin Dance (Right elbow to left knee, reverse)
- Station 3: St. Patty's Push-Ups
- Station 4: Lucky Lunge (Forward and Backward Lunges...add weights to enhance)
Stretch
Walk another lap and repeat BOTH rounds.
