The THANG: 

For warmup we walked around the playground.  When we came back, I had pre-printed Valentine Exercises around in 5 different stations including:

  • Tree Pose for balance
  • Happy Feet
  • Sprint/Jog
  • Fire Hydrants
  • Calf Raises
We did each station for 45 seconds then moved to the next until all were completed.  Another walk around the playground and back for Station Round 2: 
  • Jump Squats
  • High Knees
  • Balance Pose
  • Squats
  • High Skip
After the second round, we walked around the playground a third time.  Because of time, we were able to go back and complete Valentine Stations for round one again. We walked around the playground one last time and returned for a cool down. 
  • Standing, inhale and fold over like a taco and hang...Coming back up slowly, round back, one vertebrate at a time.  Repeat. 
  • Standing wide stance, stretch all three ways...middle and each leg
  • Downward dog...pedal calves
  • Step forward into wide lunge, bend and twist into the knee stepped forward, stretching your arm into the sky and looking toward your hand.  Repeat other leg.
  • Pigeon Pose...each leg
  • Thread the Needle...each arm
  • Child's Pose
  • Sitting on bottom, forward fold
  • Butterfly
  • Lay back...figure 4 stretch 
  • Relaxed Twist 
  • Stretch out like a pencil
