The Thang: We started out with some yoga, working on chair pose (utkatasana) into forward bend (uttansana), into triangle pose (trikonasana) and then ending with a wide leg forward bend (prasarita padottanasana).
The order of our workout was walking a lap around the church, then 1 minute of wall sit, and then 6 exercises of 45 seconds on, 15 seconds rest. The first round was focused on arms, so we walked a lap, did 1 minute of wall sit and then 6 arm exercises (all with weights):
- shoulder press to elbows together
- squat with chest flies
- tricep kickbacks on all fours (right side)
- tricep kickbacks on all fours (left side)
- lateral in and outs
- front raises to lateral raises
Round 2 was a lap around the church, 1 minute wall sit and then 6 exercises focusing on cardio:
- jumping jacks
- high knees
- speed skaters
- boy bands
- jog to the 2nd light pole
- mountain climbers
The last round we were running out of time so we were unable to complete our last minute of wall sit, but we focused on butt exercises with bands:
- bridge with one leg up and circles (right)
- bridge with one leg up and circles (left)
- bridge with one leg up and pulses (right)
- bridge with one leg up and pulses (left)
- right side lying leg extension
- left side lying leg extension
