The Thang: We had 3 events to complete during for our second to last day of the FIA Olympics! We had the 3 minute Frogger Challenge, the Broad Jump Burpee Race, and the Paper Plane Challenge. Since this landed on a Friday when I would normally teach yoga, I decided to have us practice yoga in between events. 

We got a yoga strap and did some windmills and pulses to help open up our shoulders. We then moved our arms behind with the yoga strap from side to side. Then we put the straps down and put our arms up in a prayer position and bent our elbows back and down. Then we did some shoulder rotators. 

We then completed the Frogger Challenge where we had to complete as many froggers as we could in 3-minutes. All the ladies completed at least 30 in 3 minutes! We then repeated the above yoga to stretch our shoulders again. 

We moved into a wide leg forward stretch (prasarita padottanasana) into a low lunge (warrior-virabhidrasana 1). Then we did a side lunge moving from side to side in order to open up our hips. Then we did cat/cow and child's pose. 

Our second event was the Broad Jump Burpee Race. All the ladies made it to the finish line! We went back to yoga with some hip circles in table position and thread-the-needle and child's pose. 

Our last event was the Paper Plane Challenge. We built our paper planes and flew them from the last light pole back to our mats. Jiminy kicked our butts! 

We finished lying on the mat using our straps to stretch our hamstrings and hips, knees to chest, happy baby and corpse pose. 

We ended with prayer, announcements, COT, and picture. Thank you ladies!
