What a beautiful evening to mosey from our AO “The BattleGround” to get our beatdown on the steps of the Kinston Lenoir County Courthouse. Those steps are beautiful but boy can they make those legs sore. When we arrived, the Q Yachty reminded PAX to take it easy, modify and take rests as needed. We wanted to work hard, but we don’t want anyone to get hurt.
The beatdown done in two rounds:
Run up/down 5x (Running up and back down=1x)
15 Tricep dips. Some PAX used the steps and some used the walls
25 Fast Toe Taps
Run up/down 3x
20 lunges up (take two steps at a time, come down low) and run back down and start again
Run up/down 2x
30 Calf Raises (make sure those heels are hanging off the step!!!)
15 push ups
Climb every other step and walk down x3
20 sideways squats
Before we started Round 2, each PAX led us in “THE EXTRA’S”, leg raises, sumo squats, more tricep dips, bear crawls up the steps and more. Unfortunately we only got ¼ way through round two. Whew, that 45 minutes went by fast. But we did get 25 Brandon Ingrams in.
Hurricane led the cool-o-rama. COT. Name-o-Rama. Picture. Gypsy, StrikeOut, Cookie Monster, Cookie, Hurricane, Rat-a-tat, Sweet Tooth, Elevate, Whole Grain, Fitness, Sunrise and Yachty all moseyed back to the stage at the BattleGround.
